A Chef Comes Home

David Silverman trained as a sushi chef, a tapas chef, absorbing techniques from every kitchen. When it was time to open his own place, he chose downtown Woodstock — where he lived.

Nothing at Reel comes out of a bag or off a line — every dish is made to order, every time. That commitment has never slipped.

The Menu Tells the Story

Crab cakes and shrimp and grits became signatures fast. The menu also spans a New England lobster roll, aged steaks, house-made pastas, and vegetarian options.

Karen Silverman runs the front of house — the warm bar, the open-air patio, the staff who remember your name. That warmth is all her.

Ten Years on Main Street

Georgia Tourism named Reel to their "100 Plates Locals Love" list. Fox 5 Atlanta came calling. Regulars have been showing up for $2 oysters every Thursday for over a decade.
